Connect Epsilon3 with Slack to keep your team informed and responsive without constantly monitoring the platform. The Slack integration allows Epsilon3 to send real-time notifications for important workflow events such as procedures awaiting review, approvals requiring action, automated pauses that need attention, and other configurable workflow alerts.
Once connected, notifications can be delivered to selected Slack channels so operators, reviewers, and managers stay aligned in real time.
Enable the Slack Integration
Workspace admins can enable the Slack integration directly from Epsilon3.
Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Slack and select Install to begin connecting your Slack workspace. You will be prompted to authorize the connection to your Slack workspace.
After authorization, choose the Slack workspace and channels where notifications should be delivered.
You will be redirected to a Slack page to grant the necessary permissions to authorize the Epsilon3 Slack app. Once there, select a channel for now (you can customize the channels for individual notifications in notifications settings) and accept permissions.
Please complete the authorization process within 60 seconds (as designed with OAuth standards). If you don’t, you’ll need to restart the installation process.
Note: During review you may see a standard Slack warning while approval is pending. Epsilon3 adheres to our privacy policy and security practices.
The following screen shows that the installation is complete.
Configure Notifications
Once installed, admins can choose which events should send notifications to Slack.
This allows teams to route the right alerts to the right channels, reducing noise while keeping stakeholders informed.
How It Works in Slack
After configuration, Epsilon3 posts alerts and workflow updates directly into the selected Slack channels. Team members can quickly see when action is required, respond faster to blocked work, and stay aware of operational progress without leaving Slack.
Disconnecting Slack
Admins can remove or reauthorize the integration at any time from Settings > Integrations > Slack.
