Each time a user logs in to a workspace, the landing page will be the screen displayed. You can also navigate back to the landing page by clicking the Epsilon3 logo in the top left corner.
Your Home for Notifications, Tasks, and Daily Operations
The redesigned Epsilon3 Landing Page provides a centralized view of everything that needs your attention. The new layout includes a Notifications feed on the left and a Tasks panel on the right—helping you stay on top of reviews, approvals, action items, and follow-ups as soon as you log in.
NOTIFICATIONS FEED
The left side of the Landing Page now displays a chronological feed of notifications related to your work, including:
Procedures waiting for review
Automation Procedure Paused
@Mentions
Tools
Procedure Import Complete
Suggested Edits
Comment Resolved
Operation / Work Order / Issue Assignee or Collaborator
Issue Updated
Procedure Review Comment
Each notification shows who generated it and when it occurred.
Click See All Notifications to be directed to the Notifications Screen.
Click into a notification link to be directed to the procedure or item the notification originated from.
The feed automatically displays your most recent notifications. You can filter between:
Open Or Archived
Read, Unread, or Both
Sort options – Reorder based on time
Each notification has a set of actions you can use to organize your feed. Hover over a notification to view:
Pin
Pin important notifications to keep them at the top of the feed for easy access.
Archive
Archive notifications you no longer need. This helps keep your feed clean while preserving the full history under “See all notifications.”
Sort
Switch between different sort orders (e.g., newest first) to find what you need quickly.
TASKS
The right side of the Landing Page introduces Tasks, a lightweight system for tracking action items, reminders, follow-ups, and operational to-dos.
Tasks are designed to supplement procedures and shift operations with quick, flexible notes that keep your work moving forward.
Tasks are ideal for:
Tracking items found during procedure reviews
Noting follow-ups that need to happen later
Recording operational steps that aren’t part of a formal procedure
Reminding yourself or teammates about an action item
Creating Tasks
To create a task:
Go to the Tasks panel on the right side of the Landing Page.
Click Add Task.
Type the Task Title.
Press Enter to save.
Task Priorities
Each task can be assigned a priority level (Low, Medium, High) so you can quickly identify what needs attention.
This helps you organize your workflow and ensures urgent items rise to the top.
Reassigning Tasks
Tasks can be assigned to any member of your team.
To reassign:
Hover over the task.
Select the Reassign icon.
Choose the user responsible for completing it.
After reassignment, you will automatically continue watching that task—meaning you will stay updated on its progress.
Watching and Unwatching Tasks
You can watch tasks to stay informed about updates and changes.
You automatically watch any task you reassign.
You can manually stop watching at any time using the eye icon.
Completing Tasks
Mark tasks complete by checking the box next to them. Completed tasks disappear from the default view but remain accessible in the Completed filter.
Shift Logs and Tasks Integration
Tasks are fully integrated into Shift Logs, allowing teams to create, track, and pass along action items directly from within a shift entry. This ensures that important follow-ups are never lost and that handoffs between shifts are smooth and well-documented.
When a task is created from a shift log:
It is automatically linked to that shift log.
It appears in the Shift Log Tasks section inside the log.
It still shows on the Home Page Tasks panel.
It can be reassigned, prioritized, or completed like any other task.
Showing or Hiding the Task Panel in a Shift Log
The Shift Log editor includes a right-side panel for managing tasks.
You can toggle the panel visibility at any time:
Hide Tasks Panel
Show Tasks Panel
Linking an Existing Task to a Shift Log
If a task already exists (created earlier or by another team member), you can link it to the current shift log.
Open the Shift Log Tasks dropdown.
Choose from the list of open tasks.
The task will appear in the log and remain in the Home Page Tasks panel.
Creating a New Task from a Shift Log
You can also create a brand-new task directly from the shift log.
Open the Shift Log Tasks dropdown.
Type the name of a new task.
Select Create “New Task Name”.
This new task is now:
Linked to the shift log
Displayed in the Tasks panel on the home page
Ready to be assigned, prioritized, or completed
