Time Tracking

Record and track the time users spend on running procedures into exportable time sheets.

Updated this week

Track time users spend across the app, with specific focus on runs. This feature provides valuable insights

Enable Time Tracking (Workspace Setting)

To enable Time Tracking for the workspace, navigate to Settings and enable the toggle under General Preferences.

Once enabled, all users will see a time tracker under their username in the left navigation pane.

Create Time Entries

Record time in a run

When in a running procedure, a new button will be available to start tracking time.

Click the play button to start recording time spent in the procedure. Once started, the timer can be paused or stopped.

Use the pause button to stop recording time with the intention to resume at a later point. Use the stop button to finalize that time entry.

A "Timer Paused" notice will briefly display on pause.

NOTE: Pausing the timer ONLY pauses the time tracking and does NOT pause the actual run itself, nor does it prevent inputs or sign offs within the procedure run.

Similarly, pausing the run does not pause or stop the time tracking.

Click the Stop button on the timer to save the time entry and reset the timer.

Manually log time

Time can also be logged manually by clicking the + icon next to the timer at any time in or out of a run.

This will bring up a modal to enter time details.

Admins will be able to manually create entries for other users within the workspace. Non-admins users can only create entries for themselves.

Time entries can not be overlapping, even when entered manually.

View, Modify, and Export Time Sheets

Click the View Timesheet icon to view and manage time sheets.

The timesheet will display both the recorded time entries and the manual time entries.

Use the vertical 3 dot menu on the right to export the timesheet as a CSV.

Click into a time entry to view and edit time details and notes.

Hover over the note icon to view the note. Click the pencil icon to edit.
